The P47 was known as the “Jug” because of its unique shaped fuselage like a milk jug. It was a rather large and heavy aircraft powered by a single engine, some call it “the tank of the sky.” It was heavily armored and armed with four 50 caliber machine guns on each wing, with the ability to carry rockets or a bomb payload of 2500lbs. Suitable for ground bombing or attack missions with an excellent ability to fight other birds high in the sky.

RC Universe – P-38 Lightning
The P38 Lightning is a unique plane that played various roles in World War II. It has twin booms and a single central nacelle containing the cockpit. It was named the “fork tail devil” by the Luftwaffe and “two plane, one pilot” by the Japanese. The P38 served many different missions including dive bombing, level bombing, ground-attack, night fighting, photo reconnaissance, and long range escort fighter. It earned itself and awesome reputation in the war.

The Katana is a 3D capable sport plane designed to make the transition from sport models to more challenging 3D aircraft a lot less demanding. The design concept stems from the Tech One Venus. Its large wing area and light wing loading offer very forgiving flight characteristics, especially in slow flight. It’s also compatible with a range of motor and propeller sizes so you can fine tune the power and performance to your skill level. Experienced 3D pilots will appreciate the uniquely designed Katana and its in flight behavior.
